In 2016 I full-filled one of my greatest fashion design fantasies: designing and making my own wedding dress.
The experience was magical and the outcome was nothing short of PERFECT.
The floor-length silk dress dragged a court-size train.  The hem adorned with beaded embroidery had just enough weight to keep the dress from fluttering wildly in the wind. The bias-cut skirt split down the middle and connected just above the knee, gently hugging the hips as it met the bodice at the high waist. The structured bodice had boning and a built-in bra constructed within a shimmering rose gold lycra layered with embellished mesh. The back is built in only embellished sheer mesh, framed with beaded trip and plunging just above the waist. The dress closed in the back with a short invisible zipper hidden behind a beaded design. A double string of beads drape over the shoulders and the dress is completed with a removable train made of silk chiffon and underlined with tulle for a touch of body.
